10 Day Trip – Assam and Nagaland

  • Relax and enjoy the evening in Guwahati.

Day 2:

  • Visit the Kamakhya Temple, a Hindu temple dedicated to the goddess Kamakhya.
  • Visit the Assam State Museum, which houses a collection of artifacts and exhibits on the history and culture of Assam.

Day 3:

  • Take a day trip to Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is home to the world’s largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses.
  • Go on a jeep safari in the park to see rhinoceroses, tigers, elephants, and other wildlife.
  • Have lunch at one of the many lodges in Kaziranga National Park.
  • Return to Guwahati in the evening.

Day 4:

  • Take a flight from Guwahati Airport (GUT) to Dimapur Airport (DMU). The flight time is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
  • Take a taxi or cab from Dimapur Airport to Kohima, the capital of Nagaland. The journey takes approximately 3 hours.
  • Check into your hotel in Kohima.

Day 5:

  • Visit the Kohima War Cemetery, a cemetery that is home to the graves of soldiers who died in the Battle of Kohima during World War II.

Day 6:
