Why Data Analysis Matters?
Data is crucial for a multitude of reasons:
Informed Decision Making: Data provides the foundation for making informed decisions. Whether in business, science, or public policy, having access to accurate and relevant data helps stakeholders understand trends, identify opportunities, and mitigate risks.
Performance Evaluation: Data allows for the evaluation of performance and progress towards goals. By tracking metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), organizations can assess their effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and optimize their strategies.
Insight Generation: Data analysis can uncover valuable insights that may not be immediately apparent. Through techniques such as data mining, machine learning, and statistical analysis, organizations can discover patterns, correlations, and trends that can inform strategic planning and innovation.
Risk Management: Data helps in identifying and mitigating risks. By analyzing historical data and forecasting future scenarios, organizations can anticipate potential risks and take proactive measures to minimize their impact.
Resource Optimization: Data-driven insights enable more efficient allocation of resources. Whether it’s optimizing supply chain logistics, scheduling workforce activities, or managing financial investments, data helps organizations maximize their efficiency and effectiveness.
Innovation and Growth: Data serves as a catalyst for innovation and growth. By leveraging data analytics, organizations can identify new market opportunities, develop innovative products and services, and stay ahead of competitors in rapidly evolving industries.
Transparency and Accountability: Data fosters transparency and accountability by providing a clear record of actions and outcomes. By making data accessible to stakeholders and the public, organizations can demonstrate accountability, build trust, and foster collaboration.
Overall, data is essential for driving progress, fostering innovation, and enabling organizations to adapt and thrive in an increasingly complex and interconnected world.
Why use World Group Solutions (WGS)?
Founder is Sujoy Bardhan. He worked for over 20 years with data serving big and multinational companies. He also realized that smaller companies cannot leverage the technologies available due to few reasons:
a. Affordability. IT can be very expensive if served by well known IT companies. The rate of pay could be in the range of $150 to $250 per hour.
b. Bigger IT companies do not want to serve small businesses as it is not worth the cost to maintain skilled engineers to serve them.
c. Smaller budget: High IT costs force these companies to keep their scope small, which means they are not able to fully leverage the benefits. Hence its not a right fit for both companies and IT giants.
This leads to a business model where we could offer the BEST TECHNOLOGY AT A VERY EFFORDABLE PRICE.
Well the goal would be to serve smaller companies with proven quality and methodology. So that the clients do not see the difference but at the same can afford the cost of IT development.
Here, we work with freelancers, ensuring we get the best talent around the world. All trained with the same methodology of development. The tools remain the same worldwide.
When needed, we include them in a project based on the industry and the project.
We use the best technology available. A bigger company working would also be using the same technology. What makes the difference is experience and methodology. We bring years of experience working exclusively with data. And a proven methodology which has been practiced over the years.
Our focus is on the business problem that you are trying to solve. We go through a proven process to address the problem. It could include interviewing people, business requirement documentation (Functional and Technical), mock-up sessions, etc.
Our documents has a framework which needs to be followed. This ensures we capture the requirement correctly and sequentially.
Clients will ensure its correctness before we hand it over to Engineers.
Clients do not have to focus on all KPI’s together. Depending on the business, it can be prioritized to address the most important questions.
As a team, we get involved to ensure the development is strictly based on the document and the standard conventions that we follow. By doing that, it does not matter who the engineer is, he/she has to follow the same standard.
That maintains a consistency for all the clients we work with.
We recommend technology that is affordable and open source, wherever possible. This ensures a very reasonable IT cost.
Develop once and use for ever is the mission that we try to follow.
Our clients gets involved in UAT. The expected results are documents earlier and then finally compared with the actual.
A sign off document is required for payments. The scope has to be small but progressive.
The entire model is designed for small companies to address the most important KPI’s.
Everything we do is documented in the planning stage. We go by milestones.
Clients pay us based on deliverables as per planning.
We have mainly 4 payment schemes:
(a) Hourly Rate
(b) Fixed Cost
(c) Project Based
(d) Retainer basis
The options are open to clients, depending on the project’s scope and how quickly they need them. A completely flexible plan based on the client’s working capital.
We take Data Privacy very seriously.
A. We work on Google Cloud. Every project for a client is stored and maintained in a designated folder.
B. A small team along with the engineer is allocated to that folder. Only through WGS Email Address. One person from the client side will also have access to that folder.
C. Data could be dummy depending on what the client requests. Once development is completed, we switch gears to the actual database. OR There is only one engineer other than myself, who could be assigned to the project / database(s). This would save a lot of time. Especially if there are multiple sources. Its upto the client as to what they prefer.
D. Upon completion of the project or if the engineer leaves, the allocated email address will be revoked.
